His weekly funk and soul radio program on commercial station The River 93.9 WRSI has been grooving our souls for years. It is my pleasure to make another appearance. It will air tomorrow night from 6 til midnight.
The first half of the program we'll be playing classic soul and funk, including a big spotlight on Allen Toussaint, legendary New Orleans producer/artist/bandleader/icon who will be playing at this year's Green River Festival.
And the second half will feature a bunch of contemporary funk jams, as well as some bugalús.
