clandestino playlist 5/10

I was happy to be back on the air and with my own car to drive me there! Thanks to Studebaker Hawk and DJ 12XU for the fill-in action last week.

Things are looking pretty dope for the summer with a lot of amazing shows coming up. We're looking at Massachusetts visits by the likes of Tony Allen, Bio Ritmo, Grupo Fantasma, Zozo Afrobeat, Randy Weston (in the fall, actually), not to mention all the fresh local activity. I've got a few parties coming up as well. Stay tuned to this blog and Clandestino for further details.

And let's not forget that I will be guest selector/host on the next Funky Friday with Phil, on 93.9 (The River). It will air 7-midnight, including opposite our monthly Sweet Exorcist night (10-1). Yes, the extra special Rumba Psicodélica Raids the People's Pint edition. Bongohead, Mike P and B-COMING will be there. And I hope you will too. Details here. And via Facebook here.
