clandestino playlist 4/19...Tabula Rasa/Radio Clandestino tag team combo pack...(4+ hours!!)

Whew! Got a last minute ride to WMUA, thanks much to Charles who saved the day as we bumped into each other at GFM. It turns out Victor had car issues as well, as he arrived via bus to the basement studio. We did our advertised 4+ hour tag team, with some last hour assistance from DJ Studebaker Hawk. We threw down seriously eclectic jams all day and loved every hectic minute of it. Thanks to all who called in and Facebooked in (there's a term for ya!--I joined FB a coupe weeks ago and it proves to be a new radio feedback line). Thanks also to D. Russell for driving me home.

Tag Team for the Ages!!

Get ready for Monday's main event: Andujar and Radio Clandestino will tag team with Victor and Tabula Rasa for a battle royale of epic proportions.

Victor is usually on from 1210-230pm (ET) while Andujar regularly spins 230-430, but this one will be different. You see these forces will form the deadliest tag team combo in the world for one match only! Prepare the cage for battle!!!

Victor spins dance tunes, Andujar gets avant-garde...lots of cover songs and eclectic music from around the world. They will be tag-teaming any and all, with no one left standing in the ring but these two champions. Any requests?

The fierce action starts immediately after the WMUA news at noon (aprox. ten after) and continues until 430. Catch it all at WMUA.org, Monday, April 19th.

You better be listening or we'll dropkick you back to your mama! Wimp.

(Tabula Rasa's Victor and Clandestino's Andujar get ready for action!)

clandestino playlist 4/12...destroyed by allergies!!!

Yes, I guess it is destructo-allergy season. I've been hit harder this year than in recent times. Really makes for a semi-miserable week. I usually love to brave the hot, hot studio for some good music connection, but it was nearly unbearable this week. Much thanks for those who listened, called in and stopped in (Studebaker Hawk, Shanti, etc). For those that don't yet know, I finally broke down and got a Facebook page. Also...next week, it will be a super blowout 4+ hour jam as Victor (Tabula Rasa, Mondays 12:10-2:30, before me) and I will combine forces for a fantastic combo show. Check it out. Andujar gets out and Vic gets funky. Not that those abilities aren't already evident!
