Western Mass based world rhythms ensemble Gaia Roots will be playing at the Elevens in Northampton on Saturday night, April 17th to celebrate the release of their new CD "Mother Drum". A group of multi-instrumentalists and vocalists, these four women (and their collaberators) have been blessing the Valley with authentic African, Caribbean and Eastern songs and rhythms for many years and a fine display may be heard on their new disk, which will be available for purchase.
