As I type this (another late playlist!), I have just enjoyed all the festivities this weekend in Greenfield MA, the town I live in. Entering our third day of annual Green River music festivities I have already enjoyed the likes of Kermit Ruffins, NRQB, Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears, The Primate Fiasco, Shokazoba, Miss Tess & the Bon Ton Parade, DJ Bongohead and so many more, as well as our own Sweet Exorcist vinyl throwdown at The People's Pint, of which I'm still recovering. Today we get to hear Grupo Fantasma, Thomas Mapfumo, Locos por Juana, Wanda Jackson and more. This week's radio program included music from Green River Fest acts, as well as live interviews with Grupo Fantasma's bassist Greg Gonzalez and Festival music director Jim Olsen.
