Andujar drops 70s West African funk and contemporary afrobeat vinyl with a gang of percussionists, as well as visuals, film loops, etc by Bell & Howl. Local Afro-funkers Shokazoba hit the stage later and then Kaleta's Zozo Afrobeat. Kaleta is a former guitarist for Fela Kuti's Egypt 80 and currently plays in Lauren Hill's group. The spirit of Fela Kuti, West Africa and a better world vision are bumpin' tomorrow night in one of the Valley's best shows this summer. NOT to be missed. Afrobeatology.
