clandestino playlist 7/5...60s french pop and 70s afro jams

(poster by Maura Arraj)

Back in business after a one-week break, I tag-teamed this show with the Mystic Lady DJ, who brought a load of French 60s 45s. I followed with a bunch of African music, including some jams by Orchestre Poly-Rythmo, who will be in NYC this weekend for their first time ever!

Thanks to all who called, listened, stopped by. Be sure to tune in next week to hear Grupo Fantasma's Greg Gonzalez in a live phone interview and for your chance to win tickets to GF's show at the Iron Horse next week.
