Some cool comps to check out of 2008:

Juaneco y su Combo / Masters of Chicha Vol. 1 / Barbes Records
(60's Peruvian psych)
The Jewelled Antler Library / Porter Records (4 hours of music: psych, field recordings, psych folk, experimental, etc.)

Both Porter Records and ESP-Disk are "workin' hard for the money" giving new life to some great music through re-issues that both labels are throwing at us left and right! Check them out!

Also keep an eye on the Crammed Discs label (for amazing sounds from around the globe), Secret Eye (for psych, free improvised and electronic music), Soundway and Analog Africa labels for their brilliant compilations.

All the best,
Salud!

Victor
