My guest on Clandestino this week: Randy Weston!!

Tomorrow I will have the pleasure of talking with the great Randy Weston on Radio Clandestino. This will be a lot of fun as he is one of my very favorite musicians. Composer, pianist, bandleader and inspiration to many, we will discuss his music, his fellow musicians, his worldly adventures and his upcoming solo piano concert at UMass this Thursday. His brand new autobiography, African Rhythms, is available now from Duke University Press.

Additionally, we will be playing his music on the show. Feel free to leave me a comment or email if you'd like me to ask him anything!

Radio Clandestino airs live every Monday from 230-430pm (ET) at WMUA.org.
